Terms of use

The rules for using carma.sg, for buyers and for sellers. Questions: contact us.

What Carma is

Carma helps people find used cars in Singapore. It shows cars listed on sgcarmart.com and Carousell Autos, and cars that owners and dealers list on Carma itself, and scores each against similar cars. Carma doesn’t own, sell, inspect or guarantee any car, and isn’t a party to any sale: deals are between buyer and seller.

Information on the site

Listing facts come from the listings and their sellers, and Carma’s scores, estimates and price guides are worked out from them. They’re a guide, not advice or a promise: they can be out of date or wrong. Check the car, its log card and the seller before you pay anything, and never pay a deposit for a car you haven’t seen.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you’re responsible for what’s done with your account. Accounts are free, and you can delete yours at any time under Settings.

Listing a car

Listing on Carma is free. By listing a car you confirm that you own it or are authorised to sell it (as its dealer), that what you enter is true and up to date, and that your photos and description are your own to publish. Mark the car sold, or take it down, once it’s no longer for sale.

Don’t list cars that aren’t for sale, misleading prices or details, other people’s photos, or anything unlawful or offensive, and don’t put links or other contact details in the description. Carma may hide or remove a listing, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules or that it believes is misleading, without notice.

You give Carma permission to show your listing (its photos, description and details) on carma.sg and in links to it shared elsewhere, for as long as it’s listed.

Using the site fairly

Don’t scrape, overload or try to break into the site, or use it to send spam or collect other people’s details. Sellers’ phone numbers are for asking about their cars only.

Liability

Carma is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Carma isn’t liable for losses from using the site, from information on it, or from dealings between buyers and sellers.

Changes and law

These terms may change; the date below shows the latest version. They’re governed by the laws of Singapore. How Carma handles personal information is in the privacy note.
